Keep Going-It's just a season of your life!

How do you stop your insides from churning
When your mind and heart keeps you yearning for more
Just give me more Jesus
"Jesus, I give everything and everyone to you
I give everything and everyone to you Lord"
I can't keep getting hemmed up by these seasons of my life
Trying my best to be Better Over Bitter in the midst of this strife
Trying my best to live right, holding on to my peace when the woman inside of me wants to fight
Dear Abba will I ever get it right?
Please hear my cry today and give me some insight
Into the "SEASONS OF MY LIFE!"
-Deepassionate1

To every thing there is a season,
and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Picture

  1. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
  2. A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
  3. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
  4. A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;                                                                                                                         a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
  5. A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
  6. A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
  7. A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

What's the reason for the seasons?

The seasons of our lives are filled with people, places, events, opportunities and challenges that we need to navigate through in order to fulfill our God-ordained purpose on earth.  In these seasons, our faith and perseverance for living life can grow stronger or weaker based on our ability to let go of our timelines. Unlike the seasons of winter, spring, summer & fall that have a scripted timeframe, our life seasons doesn't follow that rhythm or schedule. In fact sometimes we have to endure many winter seasons before experiencing the revitalization of spring or summer in our lives. Knowing that God's timing never reflects our own can be frustrating, but there is hope.

How do you navigate the seasons of your life?
You need a roadmap (For me that's my Writer's Notebook for you it can be a journal or diary). You need a place where you can document the happenings of your season. What's happening? Who is entering and leaving your life?
Are things flowing or are you at a roadblock?
After releasing on the page you can take the time that is necessary to reflect on your process. How are you feeling? How are you handling this season of your life? Who or what are your support systems? What lessons are you learning and how can you apply those lessons to your next season?

After processing through your process, take time to reconvene with God. He will help you create a strategic plan to help you focus and execute your purpose during the current season of your life.

So how do you know what season of your life you're in?

 Watch for the signs...

Fall Season- Some things and people are falling away from your life.  Ask yourself - What is God calling me to let go of?

Winter Season- Nothing seems to be growing or blooming.  Take this time to rest and rejuvenate. Spend time with God and let him administer to you while revealing your next steps.

Spring Season- This is your doing season,  take those winter seeds and plant them like your dream depends on it.

Summer Season- Take breaks so you don't overheat and enjoy your harvest season.

Questions of the day

What season of life are you in? How are you navigating through the season?  What lessons are you learning?

Inspire yourself

This homemade ricotta of yours is pretty impressive. I mean, I never thought that you can make it like this. Well, I only buy my ricotta from the supermarket, so I cannot imagine doing this on my own. After explaining it to us, I realized that it is not that hard. I will make my own ricotta from now on, let me know if there is something that I should know before I start doing it all on my own.
