What's love got to do with it?

A valid question that I believe every lover and person who is seeking love thinks about often.

So what does love have to do with it and even more importantly what is love? How do we know that the people who claim to love us really do?



In her song, "What's Love Got To Do With It" Tina Turner stated that love is a second hand emotion and she even asked the universe the question, "Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken?"

What do I think? I'm glad you asked. There are days when I wish I can have the passion without the pain. Days when I want to cut out my heart or at least turn it off for a moment or two. I know it sounds dramatic, but I am Deepassionate1 and  love is my kryptonite .
Sometimes it leaves me crippled and strapped to my pen and my WNB writing letters and prayers to my Abba. 


Abba!!! What is Love?  
Love is more than a feeling. Love takes action. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". John 3:16

What does God say about love? 
According to 1 Corinthians 13:4-5: Love is patient, Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, & it keeps no record of wrongs.

How can we make sure that love is being reflected in and out of our lives?
Love has to begin and end with you!!! You know Gandhi's quote, "Be the change you want to see in the world", well I think that is the mindset we have to embody here. "Be the love that you want to receive".  Start by giving love to yourself and then sharing it with others.
