Entering into the second phase of my life at the age of 43 has its benefits and drawbacks. My drawbacks include hot flashes, dry skin, sensitive teeth and gums, irregular periods, heavy bleeding, irregular sleep patterns, and mood swings. They have shown up, daring me to reaffirm my spirit and reclaim my womanhood differently.
How do you reclaim your peace while transitioning into the conscious living space of perimenopause?
You have to read, write your ass off and share your discoveries with others!
I was a writer before this phase, but now I feel like a ferocious beast who finds calmness when her pen hits the pages of her Writer's Notebook. I find myself reading more now too. I am doing perimenopause with a new attitude, and I am willing to write and talk about it too! I want to live a more authentic life, so I have to ground myself in words that reaffirm my spirit while educating me about the changes I need to make.

The second phase of your life is a divine matter; be fearless, knowing that all things will work according to God's plans. Everyone and everything you need will show up right on time. People on the same evolutionary and spiritual frequency will gravitate to you at this time, and your essence will repel those who do not. The road may seem lonely when you evolve to a higher self, but you're simply shedding the layers that no longer serve you.
