I really liked what you have said about life starting only when we leave our comfort zone. I do believe that we must maximize ourselves to the fullest, but not doing so does not really mean your dead or is just not simply living. Some people would prefer to be comfortable and that is not bad. We are inclined by our own needs and wants. Also, we have different situations in life that can be a factor in our decision making.

Life begins when you are able to decide eon your own with bravery. i am much awaited for my nieces and nephews begin their rebellious days. All of us have done into that phase in life in where you do not follow you parents, but the end is always fruitful. My sister and I is like that, we are true that we somehow rebelled during our teenage dreams.
