Participants enter a safe space where they experience the liberating power of writing. Armed with a pen and a Writer's Notebook, using Dee's Passion Filled Writing format, they learn how writing can be a tool of upliftment. These writing sessions show the transformative power of the Writer's Notebook and become a place of Rest, Reflection, Revelation & Revolution for the participants. Passion Filled Writers is vital for our community because this movement creates a space where writers can write, create, dream, share, perform and publish their work together.

This 3-hour Experience will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 6:30-9:30 PM @ The Maysles Documentary Center -343 Malcolm X Boulevard
The Experience will begin promptly @ 6:30 PM with Dee's Art Exhibition and a special guest performance by SonE Music.
Next, we will enter the cinema for The Evolution Film Premiere.
Our Featured Performances will follow, and Dee will then fill the space with a Poetic Performance from her latest book "Behind the Mask".We will conclude the night with a reception, book signing, and cipher in the reception hall.
