No rush.
No rules.
Just truth.

Dessy's Lines

Still Growing.
Still Making Room!!!

Lala's Lines

We’re at it again.

The pages are open and the armor is coming off.
What started with one brave voice has begun to ripple outward. Dessy put her ink on the page and invited us to write from the places we usually keep quiet. Now another young writer has stepped forward.

Meet Lala.
Inspired by Dessy’s courage, Lala added her own lines to the journey and opened another doorway for the rest of us to walk through.
Not footsteps.
Ink trails.

Her prompts invite us to sit with the questions, the spinning thoughts, the moments when we’re trying to understand ourselves a little better.
So once again, we’re doing what this community does best.

We’re writing without our armor.
Submissions are open until May 30th.
Use one of Lala’s lines and see where the page takes you.
Selected pieces will be included in the community anthology:

Kolumbiana's Lines

And the lineage continues.

What began with Dessy’s courage and expanded through Lala’s voice is still growing. One line opened the door. Another created a path. Now another young writer has stepped forward to leave her mark on the page.

Meet Kolumbiana.

Kolumbiana did not just want to follow others’ lines. She wanted to drop her own.
Her lines come from places many people recognize but do not always say out loud. Exhaustion, strength, memory, family, and the quiet battles we fight within ourselves.

These lines invite writers to be honest about the things that sit heavy on the heart and linger in the mind.
Once again, the page becomes a place to release what we carry.
Because sometimes all it takes is one line to unlock the truth we have been holding inside.
And once again, we are doing what this community does best.
We are writing without our armor.

Taylor's Questions

From lines to questions…

After a hectic moment, Taylor asked for a pause, a moment in the safe haven of my room. Sometimes that is all a young person needs, a quiet space, a listening ear, and permission to breathe.
As we talked, I asked her to think about some lines.
But instead of lines, something else began to appear on the page.

Questions.

Real questions. Honest questions. The kind that do not just sit on paper, but reach into the heart and ask us to think deeper about life, purpose, and the strength it takes to keep going.
And just like that, a shift happened.

What started as lines became something more, questions worth answering.
Questions that do not belong to just one person, but to anyone who has ever wondered what comes next, how to keep moving forward, and where true strength comes from.

These are Taylor’s questions.
And now, we are inviting you to sit with them too.
