WHAT IS THE HEALING TO AUTHORSHIP LAB?​

A trauma-informed, arts-integrated writing experience that helps students strengthen literacy skills, develop self-awareness, and use writing as a tool for reflection, release, healing, and authorship.

​WHAT STUDENTS EXPERIENCE

Reflect
Students explore identity, emotions, experiences, and personal growth through guided reflection.
Activate
Students engage in discussion, visual arts, movement, and creative activities that deepen understanding.
Write
Students develop their voices through poetry, journaling, personal narratives, letters, spoken word, and anthology writing.

Writing Without Armor: Healing to Authorship Lab.
Students engaged in reflective writing, visual arts, literacy development, and self-discovery through

The experience provided students with brave and safe spaces to explore their stories, strengthen their voices, and recognize the power of authorship.
