8/17/2024 1 Comment Have you seen my BOOM?A quick word from Dee:)When I first envisioned the guest blogger series, it was meant to be a haven for women writers to share their voices and stories. However, as I've journeyed through this process, I've realized that expression takes on many forms, each as powerful and beautiful as the next. Today, I'm stepping away from my original vision to make an exception for someone whose creativity knows no bounds—my daughter, Serenity. Serenity is not just an exceptional young woman; she's an anime and Stray Kids enthusiast whose passion and dedication are awe-inspiring. Her ability to bring her visions to life is nothing short of a God-ordained gift, and I am continually astonished by the depth of her creativity. It is with immense pride and joy that I share my Serenity with you today. I hope you are as moved by her passion and vibrant spirit, as I am daily. -Dee Stray Kids' Chk Chk Boom Partial Cover |

Have you seen my Victory?
Sheila TextorSheila Textor is an author and minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sheila and her husband are former Pastors of New Beginnings House of Prayer in Blytheville, Arkansas. Sheila has over 30 years of experience in the ministry. |
I have been on a journey of finding my purpose since around 2014. Ten years ago this month, I had an eye-opening revelation. I was never a reader until that day I sat at my mother-in-law's house resting from helping her pack to move. I picked up a book to pass some time and began reading the introduction. You have heard how one book has changed people's lives. It read my mail. I couldn't put it down. It was supposed to be a 31-day declaration book. I took it home with me and read it overnight. From that day to now, I have read hundreds of books.
About two years into reading every inspirational and faith-based book I could find, I stumbled upon the Bumblebee analogy. From that story, a ministry was born. Can we say a seed was planted in my spirit? I had conceived a dream that I would slowly birth over the next eight years.
Bee Ministries has had several different looks and names. The message never changed; it was just clearer. The bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly because of its big body and tiny wings, but it flies anyway.
The odds were against me—my family was so broken and poverty-stricken, and I only had a 7th-grade education. I got my GED when I was 34, and I never would have believed I could be an author.
After publishing about four to five devotionals, my editor/creative coach urged me to find a digital creator and have them design a bee that would be my own. That is how Victory was born.
She is vibrant. She is confident. She is courageous. She is Victory.
It's been a serendipitous journey. I encourage you today to keep dreaming, believing, hoping, and trusting God to open the doors of destiny for you. I am nowhere close to seeing all the things I see in my spirit, but I thank God for the progress I have made with his help.

Beeministries.com was one of those ideas that came to fruition by simply flying anyway.
