Questions of the day
What is one thing that is happening in your life right now that you need to persevere through?
How can you encourage yourself when you need to keep on moving?
Perseverance- Doing something despite difficulty of delay...
For the righteous falls 7 times and rises again. Proverbs 24:16
For you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance!!! James 1:3
My prayer for us!!!
Please help us to stop drifting in the sea of uncertainty. Help us to be anchored in you and the knowledge that according to Izaiah 48:17 You know what's best for us and you will lead us in the way that we should follow. Help us to tap into the strength that lives inside of us and to live the lives that you created us to live.
In Jesus' name
Endurance: The ability and power to keep going during an unpleasant and difficult process or situation!
" A desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul." Proverbs 13:19
"There is profit in all labor, but mere talk leads to poverty." Proverbs 14:23
The art of letting go is truly an art
No one wakes up in the morning declaring that they want to let go of the very things and people who they believe are essential in their lives.
However, I am grappling daily with the fact that letting go helps us to unpack the many layers of our lives that we store away because we are attending to too many things and too many people.
Covid-19 pushed us into a space where we had to attend to ourselves first. We had to put on your oxygen mask and save ourselves. We had to reflect on the parts of our lives that we've been neglecting due to the everyday expectations that are fastened to our lives.
Over the past few months, I decluttered my house and my mind and I realized that I was holding on to so much and I really needed to let go.
Letting go gave me clarity, focus, and a newfound hope in myself and the purpose that God has on my life. I can hear my own thoughts now, no need to filter through the advice of the world. It just truly a great place to be in. By letting go I received a promise too, "the things and the people who are supposed to be in this season of my life will find me!!!"

Changing the Past
The past is the past for a reason
That is where it is supposed to stay
But some cannot let it go
In their heads it eats away
Until all their focus becomes
The person that they used to be
The mistakes they made in their life
Oh, if only they could see
That you cannot change what happened
No matter how hard you try
No matter how much you think about it
No matter how much you cry
What happens in your lifetime
Happens for reasons unknown
So you have to let the cards unfold
Let your story be shown
Don't get wrapped up in the negative
Be happy with what you have been given
Live for today not tomorrow
Get up, get out and start living
Because the past is the past for a reason
It's been and now it is gone
So stop trying to think of ways to fix it
It's done, it's unchangeable, move on
Time to Write- Questions of the day
1. What are you holding on to today that is preventing you from living the best life you can live?
2. Why is letting go the best revenge you can have in your life?
3. Identify some things and people that you will have to let go of in order to enter into the next level of your life. For each thing and person explain why that decision was made?

Note to self:
God didn't bring you this far to leave you!!!
On days like today when you are doubting the creator who lives in you
Your 2020 vision is looking hazy and you don't know if it will come through
On days like today when your emotions are overwhelming and are suffocating you
Just stop and take a moment to reflect on all that God has already done for you
Know that something is breaking in the heavens and what belongs to you is coming through.
"SOMETHING HAS TO BREAK IN THE NAME OF JESUS!!!"
I wasn't always a BADASS, in fact being a BADASS is a position that I grew into over the years. Now it is a title that I have embodied to the fullest. It is a reminder on my low days that I can't stay down, I must push myself into my power position acknowledging who I am.
I Am.. A Brilliant, Attentive, Dedicated, Accomplished, Successful Sister.
How I got this way?
I got tired of living a lukewarm life when the fire inside me was up on high. I had to acknowledge what made me happy and take the steps to maximize those things in my life. Creating the life that you want isn't easy, I am still in the crafting stage, but each day I am learning that there is power that is given to each of us to make our mark on the earth. I am at a place now (#Quarantined) where I have a lot of time to take a closer look at the blueprints for my life, and even though there are many things that are out of our control there are many things that we still have creative license over.
Living your life on Purpose
Being at home has created a platform where we can fall in love with ourselves. again. It is a time for rest, reset, and rejuvenation.
During this time you have an opportunity to appreciate how special you are, bless yourself with affirmations, do things that you love, and enjoy the fact that no one else in this world is like you! You are a BADASS and you won't compare yourself with others any longer.
Questions Of The Day
What have you done today to celebrate the BADASS who lives in you?
Does being a BADASS make you happy?
What do you find yourself doing instead of doing what you are supposed to be doing?
What is a statement of purpose that you can say to yourself on your low days?
